In the spring of 2007 I was given the opportunity to write an article for the premiere issue of the Journal of Information Technology and Social Change, which is published jointly by the Nonprofit Technology Network (NTEN) and the Gilbert Center. My article, "Leapfrogging Borders: Social Change Technology in the Global South and its Implications for American NTAPs," gives an overview of the field of social change technology in the global south and analyzes its implications for American non-profit technology assistance providers (NTAPs).
